Carbost is an extremely popular area and please be warned, it will be very busy in the summer however there is a reason for that- its beautiful!

Carbost is home the world famous Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery and Glenbrittle beach. There is a brilliant selection of local eateries and many mountain hike starting points. If you plan to visit Talisker Distillery Please remember to book to avoid disappointment please also remember to book if you plan to eat lunch  or dinner in Carbost. We recommend Donald John's Cafe for as it is the most spacious with good hearty food and lovely views. For dinner we recommend the old Inn for some real Scottish cuisine and live music.
